Therapy with Nathalie

About this policy

Effective date: 11/5/2026

This page explains what information my website collects, why I collect it, and how I protect it. It covers therapywithnathalie.com, which I run, Nathalie Fleitas, LMHC, a licensed mental health counselor in Florida (MH16448).

If you become my client, federal law (HIPAA) and Florida law also protect your health information. How I handle that information is explained in my Notice of Privacy Practices. This policy is only about the website.

Information you share with me

When you send me a message through the contact form, I receive what you type in:

  • Your name

  • Your email address

  • Your phone number, if you add it

  • Your preferred language

  • Your message

Please keep your message short and general. You don't need to share details about your health or what's going on for you. We can talk about that later, in a more private way.

If you email or call me directly, I receive your contact details and whatever you share in that message.

Information collected automatically

My website is hosted by Wix. Like most websites, it collects some basic technical information when you visit, such as:

  • Your IP address and general location (city or region)

  • Your browser and device type

  • The pages you visit and how long you stay

  • The website that sent you here

Wix uses cookies to do this. Cookies are small files saved in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work. Others help me see, in general terms, which pages people find useful.

I don't use advertising cookies or tools that show you ads based on your visit here.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, though some parts may not behave as expected.

How I use your information

I use your information to:

  • Reply to your message

  • Contact you if a spot opens up, if you asked me to

  • Keep the website working well and easy to use

  • Meet legal and professional requirements

I never sell or rent your information. I don't share it with advertisers. I won't add you to a mailing list without asking you first.

Who else may see your information?

A few services help me run this website and my practice. They only get what they need to do their job:

  • Wix, which hosts the website and the contact form

  • My email provider, which delivers your message to me

I may also share information if the law requires it, such as a court order, or to protect someone's safety in an emergency.

How long I keep it

I keep contact messages only as long as I need them to reply and follow up. Then I delete them.

If you become my client, your information becomes part of your clinical record. Florida law and my Notice of Privacy Practices decide how long that record is kept.

How I protect it

The website uses a secure connection (SSL), so what you type in the form is encrypted on its way to my website. Only I have access to messages sent through the site.

Still, no website or email is completely secure. If something feels too private to type, you're welcome to call me instead.

Your choices

You can ask me to:

  • Tell you what information I have from your message

  • Correct anything that's wrong

  • Delete your information

Just email me at nfleitascounseling@gmail.com, and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

Children

This website is written for adults, including parents and caregivers. I work with children 8 and older, but a parent or guardian should be the one to contact me.

I don't knowingly collect information from children under 13 through this site. If you think a child has sent me a message, let me know, and I'll delete it.

Links to other websites

Some pages link to other websites, such as Alma or the resources I recommend. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and I'm not responsible for how they handle your information.

In an emergency

The contact form is not checked around the clock. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), or call 911.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. When I do, I'll change the effective date at the top of this page.
